When Vani searches the web for you, it now uses Parallel, a search API built for AI. It's live today in chat, research and deep research, on every plan, at no extra cost.
What changes
- Sources picked for your question. Parallel looks for pages that answer what you asked and gives Vani the relevant passages from each one.
- Fresher results for "what's new" questions. When you ask about the latest, current or recent, Vani uses Parallel's more thorough search mode.
- Pages that were hard to read. When our own reader can't open a page, for example one built with heavy JavaScript, Vani can get its text through Parallel instead.
- Research and deep research too. Research jobs and deep research search the same way.
Your privacy
Vani sends Parallel only short search queries, plus a page's public address when it needs Parallel to read that page. It never sends your conversation history, your files or your account details.
Nothing to set up
Search the web in chat as you do today. If Parallel can't answer a search, Vani falls back to its own search automatically.
